Effective July 23, 2026
Flaviest is a dish discovery service operated by JuvinTech Inc. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use flaviest.com, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.
The short version. We collect your name and email if you sign in, anything you choose to submit, and the searches you run. We do not collect payment information, we do not track your device location, we do not run analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not sell your data.
Flaviest uses Google Sign-In. If you sign in, we receive your name, email address, and profile image from Google, and store them in our database to identify your account. We never receive your Google password.
If you submit a dish review or feedback, we store what you wrote along with your account identifier. Reviews you submit may be displayed publicly alongside the relevant dish.
We record the dish and city you search for. This lets us cache results, decide which cities and dishes to add, and control operating costs. Searches are not tied to advertising profiles.
Our servers keep operational logs — request timing, error messages, and service usage — used to monitor reliability and cost. We do not build behavioral profiles from this data.
Flaviest ranks dishes using publicly available restaurant reviews. When you search, we query Google Places for candidate restaurants, retrieve publicly posted reviews for those restaurants through a data provider, and use an AI model to identify quotes that specifically mention the dish you searched for.
This process operates on public reviews about restaurants. It does not analyze your personal information, and your identity is not sent to these services.
Restaurant and dish information is aggregated from public reviews and may not reflect current menus, pricing, availability, or quality. Verify details with the restaurant directly.
We rely on the following providers. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.
| Provider | Purpose | Receives |
|---|---|---|
| Sign-in and place data | Authentication details; search terms | |
| Supabase | Database and authentication | Account details and submitted content |
| Vercel | Website hosting | Standard web request data |
| Railway | Application hosting | Standard web request data |
| Outscraper | Public review retrieval | Restaurant names and locations |
| Anthropic | Review text analysis | Public review text and dish names |
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising purposes. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety and rights of our users.
Flaviest stores a small amount of data in your browser: a sign-in token so you stay logged in, and your language preference. These are functional, not tracking. We use no third-party advertising or analytics cookies. Clearing your browser storage signs you out and resets your preferences.
Account information is kept while your account is active. Reviews you submit are kept until you delete them or delete your account, at which point they are removed. Cached dish results and operational logs are retained for service performance and cost monitoring. We do not retain the raw third-party review text used to generate dish scores.
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of your account and associated data, or a copy of your data in portable form. Email privacy@flaviest.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Flaviest does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
Where GDPR applies, our legal bases are: performance of a contract (providing the service to account holders), legitimate interests (reliability, security, and cost control), and consent where required. You also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with established cloud providers under access controls. Authentication is delegated to Google, so we never handle your password. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Flaviest is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact privacy@flaviest.com and we will delete it.
Flaviest is operated from the United States, and information is processed there. If you use the service from another country, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above will be revised, and material changes will be noted on the site. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
